Brussels, 7 October 2025 — ZEROID, the commercial e-mobility brand of QEV Technologies, and Tekaydinlar today announced a strategic alliance to design, engineer and commercialize 100% electric buses. The collaboration was presented at the biennial BUSWORLD show (5–9 October), which drew record industry participation this year, with the debut of the SAMBUS 100 electric citybus model.

Built on QEV Technologies’ electric engineering expertise and Tekaydinlar’s high-capacity body manufacturing, the partnership aims to accelerate the decarbonization of public transport with efficient, quiet and reliable vehicles.

Scope of the alliance

  • Joint engineering: Co-development of modular electric platforms adaptable to different routes, climates and operational needs.

  • Technology innovation: Integration of next-generation electric powertrains, high-performance batteries and intelligent energy-management solutions.

  • Global go-to-market: Coordinated commercialization in key markets, prioritizing cities committed to the green transition.

“This alliance combines ZEROID’s advanced e-drivetrain engineering with Tekaydinlar’s industrial capability to scale production,” said Joan Orús, CEO at QEV Technologies. “The SAMBUS 100 is our first joint milestone—an electric citybus designed for real-world duty cycles and lower TCO for operators.”

The introduction of SAMBUS 100 at BUSWORLD reinforces both companies’ commitment to sustainability, innovation and connected mobility, marking a new step in the expansion of their commercial footprints.
