QEV Technologies becomes the official service partner of CATL

 

Barcelona, February 15, 2022 – QEV Technologies SL (QEV Tech) and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) signed a global strategic partnership agreement on the cooperation in aftermarket services. With the newly concluded agreement, the Spanish company QEV Tech is from now on the authorized service partner of CATL for the maintenance, recycling and reuse of the electric vehicle batteries and Energy Storage System (ESS) in Europe.

Under this agreement, both parties will also facilitate the mutual transfer of knowledge and expertise. CATL will provide QEV Tech with comprehensive training on battery know-how. QEV Tech will provide qualified battery experts and facilities to offer aftersales services to the clients of CATL around Europe.

CATL is a global leader in new energy innovative technologies, committed to providing premier solutions and services for new energy applications worldwide. According to SNE Research, in the year 2021, CATL’s EV battery consumption volume ranked No.1 in the world for five consecutive years. CATL also enjoys wide recognition by global OEM partners including BMW, Daimler AG, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, PSA, Hyundai, Honda, and Volvo, etc.
