The ZEROID X1 developed by QEV Technologies heads to Hong Kong for WRX Season Finale

November 9th 2023, Barcelona – It is the last race of the season and the ZEROID X1 is already in Hong Kong, ready for the last showdown. This double-header will mark the end of the adventure of the ZEROID X1 in World Rallycross Championship. These races will be the decider, with Johan Kirstoffersson on the lead to achieve yet another Rallycross World Championship.

The ZEROID X1, developed by QEV Technologies, was chosen by the Rallycross promoter in September to continue the WRX season, which was in standby since the Lydden Hill incident in July. The first race disputed with the car developed by QEV Technologies was in Cape Town, a double-header, on October 7th-8th.

This was the first time that the all-stars from WRX battled each other in equal machinery, and it gave for sure thrilling battles. In fact, it ended the winning streak of Johan Kristoffersson, that had won every race since the beginning of the season. This time Timo Scheider achieved the victory in the second race in Cape Town RX.

The ZEROID X1 has been the official car of RX2e Championship since its launch in 2021, and in 2024, it will be back to RX2e. So far, in these three seasons they have proven to be fast, completely reliable and free from technical issues.
