Norwegian Champion Ole Henry Steinsholt Joins RX2e Season 3 Grid

March 27, 2023 Barcelona – The FIA RX2e championship is delighted to announce that Ole Henry Steinsholt, the three-time Norwegian and North European champion in Crosskart and rallycross, will be joining the grid for season 3.

Steinsholt is a familiar face in the RX2e championship, having made his debut in the inaugural season in Catalunya, where he secured a remarkable second-place finish on the podium. His skill and experience in Crosskart and rallycross make him a strong contender for the title this season.

“I am thrilled to be joining the RX2e grid for season 3,” said Steinsholt. “I had a fantastic experience racing in the inaugural season, and I can’t wait to get back out there and compete against some of the best drivers in the world.”

Starting from the 2023 season, the RX2e championship will undergo some significant changes that promise to make the racing even more exciting for fans around the world. The championship will become team-based racing. The cars will now have a maximum power output of 270kw, which is 20kw more than the previous season. Additionally, a new Boost Mode will be introduced, which will allow the cars to generate an extra 80kw of power for a limited time during each race. This will give drivers a significant boost in acceleration and speed, making the racing even more thrilling for fans.
