Barcelona, 5 March 2019 – Electric vehicle engineering, design and production company QEV Technologies is the driving force behind three fully-electric hypercars making their global debuts today at the Geneva Motor Show.

QEV Technologies has styled, engineered and manufactured the Hispano Suiza Carmen hyperlux grand tourer, the Arcfox-GT electric hypercar, and the Arcfox-GT Race Edition. All three models benefit directly from the Barcelona-based company’s many years of electric motorsport and vehicle development expertise.

Hispano Suiza Carmen – hyperlux grand tourer
The handcrafted Hispano Suiza Carmen is based on a super-stiff, hand-laid carbon fiber monocoque developed specifically for the car by QEV Technologies, providing the foundation for exceptional handling. The Carmen is unique in combining luxury, innovation and attention to detail with technologically-superior, fully-electric performance.

While the new model takes inspiration from the 1938 Dubonnet Xenia, one of the most elegant and luxurious vehicles built by Hispano Switzerland, the striking design and hypercar-rivalling performance is a direct result of the expertise and experience of the QEV Technologies team.

Arcfox – 100% electric GT supercar and GT racer
Built from the ground-up by QEV Technologies, two new fully-electric Arcfox hypercars will debut at the Geneva Show. The Arcfox-GT and Arcfox-GT Race Edition exhibit the pinnacle of electrical engineering expertise and performance, building on the success of the Arcfox 7 that launched in 2016.

Arcfox is the premium sub-brand of China’s biggest electric-car maker BJEV – a subsidiary of BAIC, one of China’s largest vehicle manufacturers. QEV Technologies acts as the European R & D Center for BAIC BJEV. The company used its significant motorsport and electric-mobility expertise to create the two premium electric GT cars for Arcfox.

The Arcfox 7 demonstrated its handling and performance prowess throughout the 2018 season of the China GT Championships, featuring the official safety car for the full series. The two new Arcfox models unveiled in Geneva feature a suite of new technologies, plus performance upgrades to retain their place among the world’s best all-electric hypercars.
