Gain essential training to work as a competition vehicle engineer and immerse yourself in the exciting world of motorsport and racing teams. Our program offers a unique blend of competition engineering concepts, theory, and hands-on experience with real-world advanced motorsport teams or in the motorsports industry.
Introduction
We combine racing engineering concepts with theory and final practice in racing teams or the motorsport industry. The main objective is to give students a real opportunity to develop their professional careers in this sector. To achieve this, we offer our students the necessary theoretical and practical training to make them competitive in the market from day one.
The degree is directly issued by the University of Vic — Central University of Catalonia and by QEV Technologies, and it has full academic validity (60 credits ECTS). It is supported by Motorsport2020, CIAC, and Jumpstart Motorsport Jobs, ensuring that students have a complete educational experience and a direct connection with the industry from day one.
Academic Programme
After 10 years of working in this training sector, we know that the quality of the final internships in races and e-industry are fundamental for the student to acquire not only knowledge, but also real work experience with prospective employers.
Furthermore, the mix of students’ profiles, coming from professional training programs and engineering backgrounds, and their interaction, completes the overall understanding of the real work dynamics in the sector. Therefore, we have a common core foundation followed by specialization in the following areas:
- Advanced vehicle dynamics and engineering processes in car design
- Advanced data acquisition and simulation
- CAD/CAM/CAE design applied to Motorsport
- Race engineering

Structure and Contents
400 hours of theoretical/practical classes

Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 21:30 (subject to final revision).
150 hours dedicated to final internships
Starting in April, students will undertake their final internships in racing teams (races, tests, or workshops) or companies related to the industry, participating in development projects or other collaborations we have established.
