QEV Motorsport Knowledge

The knowledge taught at the QEV Academy revolves around purely classical motorsport, which is the starting point and essential basis for everything, and around electric vehicle technology, which is fundamental for the present and future of the sector. In the past, QEV Technologies has achieved countless successes in this field and is currently at the forefront of electric motorsport, a fact that supports and endorses the quality of the teaching.

In-Person Training

The training is 100% classroom-based and takes place in the afternoon and evening, allowing students to combine their studies with a working day or other classes. The classes are given at QEV Technologies’ facilities, where the students use the specialised material available to the engineering company, and its competition vehicles for the practical execution of the classes.

Teaching Staff

The teaching staff at QEV Academy is composed of active professionals who are specialized in their respective fields. They provide students with high-level, solid, relevant, and up-to-date knowledge and fundamentals of electric mobility and electric Motorsports.

Teamwork

Both the master’s degree students (engineers) and Course students (mechanics and technicians) work together throughout the 6-month training period. They share spaces and certain subjects with the aim of fostering good teamwork habits, which are essential for handling both ordinary and extraordinary situations that arise in competition teams and the motorsport industry.

Prepared for the Future

Our academic project is directly linked to the job market, as it is essential to gain comprehensive training experience. Through collaborations with industry partners, students have the opportunity to access specific platforms and tools used in the field, and they become part of their job networks.

Direct Contact with the Industry

The final internships (assigned by QEV Tech personnel based on each student’s profile, either in the motorsport industry or competition teams) serve as the culmination of the program, allowing students to apply the knowledge they have learned and have their first real professional experience.

We answer your questions

The master’s degree is aimed at students with a university degree, while the Specialisation Course is aimed at students who have completed a Professional Training Programme.

In both cases, you will receive a certification issued by the University of Vic. For the master’s degree, the certification is a Master’s degree, and for the Specialization Course, the certification is a Specialization Course certificate.

The internships can be carried out either at QEV Technologies or with teams we have agreements with. The internships take place during the course, especially in the final part, and also after the completion of the theoretical classes in March.
The theoretical part of the master’s degree is conducted at the facilities of QEV Technologies in Montmeló from September to March.

Both the master’s degree and the Specialization Course share the same schedule. Classes are held from 18:00 to 21:30, Monday to Friday, although this schedule may be subject to some modifications.

The official language is Spanish, but occasionally, depending on the speakers or professors, there may be some content in English.
